Kasane Zumi
Piled-up Sumi. Kasane literally means 'to pile up'. Sumi that is riding over or overlapping the Hi. Also Nose (Nose means 'to ride') Zumi. Often simply called Kasane. Sumi on the Hi plate is not deeply rooted to the ground (as is Sumi in the Shiroji) and it is thus not stable and can move as the Koi grows. Kasane Zumi of Taisho Sanshoku can disappear.
